TIG: True Inspirational Generation Network Afrika is an African based organization with its headquarters centered in Uganda.

TIG (True Inspirational Generation) Network Afrika is an organization and network whose intention is to elevate the role of family in Africa beginning with children. We seek to establish the home as the base upon which children are brought up to discover and realize their utmost potential.

The ultimate hope of the organization is to ensure swift moral, cultural, and social transcending of the children to become purposeful children. teens, youths, and parents through truthfulness, honesty and accountability.

 On top of reviving the glory, we also give a soothing touch on the culture development during child nurturing. One may ask, what is the importance of reviving the culture? This gives one a sense of belonging.

TIG network Afrika has four major segmentations, namely; Kids network, Teen’s network, Youth network and Parents network

In order to continually improve outcomes for children and families, TIG Network will regularly monitor and assess the functioning of their child welfare agencies and engage in strategic planning processes to target improvement efforts. While each of these processes may follow different timeframes and involve different teams, integrated planning helps agencies to find connections between processes, more easily share information, and realize efficiency and align priorities with their planning, monitoring, and reporting.

Ideally, the more connections agencies can make between these processes, the easier and more impactful these processes will become over time.

Through introducing activities like 

Activities

• Establishing Twitter space, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, snap chat, website where there is automatic data collection about the individuals interested in TIG network Afrika. media space to write about TIG Afrika events, television and radio talk shows that tend to attract the categories that the organization is targeting.
• launching the project in the communities like schools at different levels that is to say primary schools, secondary schools and tertiary institutions.
• Identifying and promoting various talents.
• Partnership with other implementing partners with the related programs or projects
• Opening up to all government programs for youth, teenagers and the children through promotion of skills trainings.
•  Promoting the eco system campaign.

• To develop capacity of the children to live a purposeful life

Through leadership mentorship in activities like

• Promoting attitude change or mindset through activities that create self-awareness especially on gender, sexuality and culture e.g., organizing beauty pageants for the children, teenagers and the youth encouraging volunteering activities and promoting team work.
• Building confidence through mentorship programs among children in public speaking   by organizing speech days competitions in schools, creating TIG Afrika network clubs in the schools that focusses in promoting culture and good morals in children, through music dance and drama, sports, art and craft, physical drawings, nature walks, among others.
• Support the handicapped children or the PWDs in co-curricular activities that help them improve on speech and confidence, building their team work, surrounding them with other children’s leaders and supporting them to make better choices in their way of life.
• Building capacity through mobilisation and sensation meetings eg engaging the youth in camporees and other things that attract them most, community events that allows them to meet regularly, mentoring sessions, shows involving children from the town schools and the rural schools and then sharing of the success stories through the community events.

3.  To bridge the communication gap between children, Teens, youths and parents embracing science and technology

• Identify the proper channels that links the children to the parents like introducing basic mobile phone technology for purposes of digital literacy.
• Network classes of the parents to enhance their skills of technology in parenting.
• Opening up accessible and affordable plat forms for parents through seminars and workshops, identifying role model families and organizing family exchange visits,
• FinTech that is introducing to the parents and the children business solutions, how to engage financial business technology.

The organization does various activities which include recruiting and training children many things like communication, co-curricular activities, etiquette; we also train these children how to become young entrepreneurs. In addition, we hold mentorship classes with these children, we believe in radical transformation. All these activities are evaluated and feedback given to parents. Our intent is to create a true generation where parents will easily get to understand the hidden potentials of their children.

As TIG, we support the parent not over taking their core role of parenting but to easily discover the capabilities of their children and to also find out the hidden untold stories among the children which would bridge a gap of truthfulness and openness that has been lacking in many families.
